Apart from the July reveal, the brochure confirmed that the Jimny will be launched in two variants – Jimny, the base model, and the more powerful, the Jimny Sierra which will be offered with a 1.5 litre engine.

Maruti Suzuki’s Jimny will come in two engine options – a 0.66-litre turbocharged, three-cylinder petrol engine for the base mode, and a 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 100 bhp of power for the Sierra.

Both engines will come mated to either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission and will offer three trims each – XG, XL and XC.

The boxy design and Black treatment of the SUV gives it a more rugged look. According to the brochure, the Jimny sports a wheelbase of 3,300 mm and is 1,475 mm wide standing at 1,715 mm.
