We’re still a few days shy of the time when speculation is rife over the launch of yet another new iPhone. This year, however, the rumours have started pouring in a bit early as tech enthusiasts eagerly await the launch of a new iPhone at Apple’s upcoming event in the second half of 2018.

Though no official confirmation has been received, according to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the new iPhone could be the headline makers at Apple’s upcoming event.

Smart home assistants are trending these days. Google recently launched Google Home assistant in India, priced at Rs 4,499 for the Home Mini, and Rs 9,999 for Home. It is in direct competition with Amazon’s Echo series – Echo Dot, Echo and Echo Plus.

In terms of hardware configuration between Amazon Echo (also priced at Rs 9,999) and Google Home, Echo is the better of the two as it has a few more functionalities and better sound output. It also has hardware buttons for waking it up, adjusting volume, and muting the microphone. With Google Home, it’s all touch based, except for the microphone mute.

However, we decided to test out their intelligence across a number of parameters. From regular updates like the weather to telling jokes, playing music, pulling out specific information from the Internet, and even speaking multiple languages, we put the two assistants to the test.

The Huawei P20 has been the talk of the town for the last few months. Ever since the official launch of the device in Paris, people (especially me) have been wanting to get their hands on the device to see what’s really cooking inside the smartphone that comes with a three lens camera setup.

What I was more curious about was that how they made the notch disappear and then reappear.

I got the Huawei P20 Pro (India variant) with me and here are my first impressions of the device.

The Supreme Court of India’s website was not loading on Friday, 20 April. This comes a day after the apex court website was allegedly hacked by a Brazilian group – this was, coincidentally, when the SC was pronouncing its judgment in the Judge BH Loya case.

On Thursday, 19 April, top court officials had confirmed that the website had been "non-functional" since 11:35 am and that they were in touch with the NIC. All efforts were being made to restore normalcy, officials added. However, they were non-committal on confirming whether the website had been hacked or not.

Out of nowhere, Amazon has entered the Indian market with its very first mobile browser for Android called ‘Internet.’ The app claims to be light in size, and most importantly, and not collect your browser data.

The app was first spotted by the guys at TechCrunch, and we haven’t heard anything from the Amazon team yet. It does look like a low-key launch of the app, which according to the Play Store listing, has been around since 20 March, almost a month now. The listing also confirms that the maker of the app resides with Amazon Mobile LLC in Seattle.
