Vodafone on Sunday has partnered with Amazon Prime Video India to enable its customers access large selection of Bollywood, Hollywood, regional movies, US TV shows, kids' programming and global Amazon originals.
Vodafone is the first telecom player to partner with Amazon Prime Video India and its consumers can enjoy Amazon Prime with a special offer on Vodafone SuperNet 4G network starting 22 March, according to a company statement.
Existing Vodafone can avail cashback of Rs 250 as their Amazon Pay balance after subscribing to Amazon Prime via MyVodafone app or Vodafone website. For those who are unaware, Amazon’s Prime annual subscription in India right now is priced at Rs 499.
The plan will be available for existing Vodafone users on Android as of now. Just like the telecom space in India, video streaming platforms are also getting a big push in the country. Netflix and Amazon are expanding their local content bandwidth by partnering with production houses, giving them exclusive access to movies and videos.
