Reliance Jio Will Live Stream Indian Cricket Matches on JioTV

Reliance Jio on Friday, 21 September, announced a five-year partnership with Star India to stream cricket matches featuring India.

Under the tie-up, JioTV and Hotstar users in India will be able to view all televised India-cricket matches, a Reliance Jio statement said. Along with international matches, the partnership would also cover the "premier domestic competitions of the BCCI", the statement adds.

Under this arrangement, Reliance users will be able to watch: T20, One Day internationals (ODI), test cricket and even the Indian Premier League (IPL) matches, all governed under the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

New Amazon Echo Speakers Launched for the Indian Market

Amazon has announced its new lineup of Amazon Echo smart speakers for the Indian market at the company’s event in Seattle.

The newly launched Echo Dot, Echo Plus, and Echo Sub have already been put up for pre-orders on the Amazon India website, while the two remaining smart devices Echo Input and Echo Show will be in India early next year.

Amidst these, there were three other products that were introduced – the Echo Auto, Echo Link and Echo Link Amp – though these will not be coming to India.

Google Drive Now Called Google One, Adds Storage Sharing Feature

Here’s a round-up of the top technology stories of the week. 
Google One offers the same features as Drive but new benefits added.

Google is re-branding and overhauling its existing Google Drive cloud storage service for business and consumers. Google Drive is now called Google One and will gradually roll out to existing paid users of Google Drive across the globe.

Drive is one of the affordable storage options available in the market, with others like Dropbox, Apple iCloud and even Amazon in the fray. For users in India, Google is sending out mails, informing them about the change, with some benefits likely to be offered in the coming months.

Google One also gets a neat mobile app that lists out account details and points out which family member of yours is hogging most of your cloud storage.

Apple iPhone XS and XS Max Pre-Orders Live in India: How to Book

Apple iPhone XS and XS Max pre-orders have started in India, with availability of the phones slated for 28 September, which is one week from now. The latest iPhone series can be pre-ordered via Airtel’s online store or Flipkart starting Sunday, 23 September.

Those booking with Airtel (having its connection) can either get it delivered to their house/office or pick it up from a nearby Airtel Store.

We already know from the launch event that the iPhone XS starts at Rs. 99,900 and will be available from end of September. The iPhone XS Max starts at Rs 1,09,900 and also will be available by end of this month. This year you can get the XS and XS Max in 64, 256 or 512GB storage variants.
