1. There’s a New Foldable Phone in the Market & It’s Not a Samsung
Foldable smartphones have been the talk of the town for sometime now and it seems smartphone makers from around the world are playing catch up to Samsung’s big revelation – its foldable smartphone.
In a recent video released on Xiaomi’s Twitter account, the company has showcased its own foldable phone many are calling as “Xiaomi Flex”.
The interesting bit and what separates Xiaomi’s foldable phone from that of Samsung’s is that it can be folded from both the sides. It’s a double-folding smartphone.

2. Paytm Enters the Food Delivery Market With Zomato to Rival Swiggy
Paytm is popular for its mobile payment service in the country. Now, it wants a similar response in the food delivery market as well. The payment platform is eyeing its next scalp and has started offering food deliveries in cities like Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Pune and Chennai among others.
This business, in a unique partnership with Zomato goes in direct competition with established names like Swiggy, Uber Eats and Ola (via Foodpanda) also in the reckoning.

3. New Tata Sky Channel Packs Announced to Meet TRAI’s Feb 1 Deadline
Tata Sky has finally come out with its revised prices for channel packs, as mandated by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) earlier this year. The direct-to-home (DTH) service provider has been haggling with the authority, which involved a case hearing in the Supreme Court on 10 January.
The new packs have been published on its website and was spotted by Telecom Talk first. It also says that customers already signed for a long-term plan will be able to switch to newer plans with ease.
Airtel TV, Dish TV and other providers have already published and marketed their new range of plans to the consumers, Tata Sky being the last one to do so.

4. Vivo’s Nex Dual Gets a Screen on Both Sides of Phone, For Real
Off late, we’ve seen phones that are launched in two variants. For instance, the Google Pixel gets a smaller and a traditional screen (without any bells and whistles), while the Pixel XL gets an advanced looking display.
Now, Vivo is kind of giving us the best of both the world with its Nex Dual Display phone, which packs two screens on either side. The Vivo Nex Dual made it to a few markets in the world, and somehow the list doesn’t include India (probably gauging demand first).
But, we managed to spend sometime with the Nex Dual.

5. Honor 10 Lite vs Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro: Which One Should You Buy
We start the year with yet another showdown between two Chinese players, Honor and Xiaomi. While the Redmi Note 6 Pro launched in late 2018, Honor has kick-started the year with its first launch of the Honor 10 Lite.
Priced at Rs 13,999, there’s no doubting the phone goes up against Xiaomi’s Redmi Note series, in this particular case, the Redmi Note 6 Pro, which is also available from Rs 13,999 onwards and comes in two variants.
This segment is extremely popular among buyers, which is why we’ve decided to put them through a showdown and the winner out of this becomes a recommended buy from our end.
