4. Google to Build an Army of 2 Million Indian Developers by 2018

Google’s interest in setting up developer shop in the country has been strengthened by the fact that over 4.2 million developers will come from India by 2018. The company has laid foundations for its first ever Android Skilling program in India.

This program is meant to be the catalyst for training 2 million skilled developers over the next three years. Skilled developers are hard to come by and along with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), Google is reaching out to public as well private technical institutes to prepare an army of developers here.
