For many PlayStation fans and gamers, 18 April might be a sad day. Playstation’s Most Valuable Player program (MVP), will come to an end.

According to PowerUpGaming, many PlayStation users are getting e-mails about the discontinuation of the MVP program.

The members of this program helped the PlayStation community with various gaming activities, discussions, official reviews and even held gaming events.

While the MVP will be discontinued, the support services offered by Sony will be available.

Sony hasn’t released any statement or unveiled any details regarding this nor has it commented on a new or replacement program similar to the MVP.

You can check out the MVP program on the PlayStation website.
