A simple idea: put a camera on the front of large, slow-moving vehicle and put a connected display at the rear.
Samsung’s prototype truck has just that idea in place. In a video released by the company’s Argentina YouTube channel Samsung trucks with four huge displays at the back are shown. The truck transmits video captured by a wireless camera at the front.
Samsung says that with countries have have single lane roads could benefit from large rigs like their safety trucks as, when a vehicle tries to take a pass, they know exactly what’s coming up ahead.
However, the idea may not catch up to consumer level as four big displays per truck is not economically viable for any transport company.
