Playstation gamers, the wait is over. PUBG is finally on PS4!
Playstation India has finally released the PS4 version of the famous online mobile survival game Playerunknown’s Battleground aka PUBG for PS4. The game is set to launch on 7 December for an introductory price of Rs 1,999 which will not include any packs and will be the basic version that comes with the online battle royale mode.
The company has also launched a pre-order version of the game on PlayStation Store which costs Rs 2,750 and there are multiple packs you can choose from.
PUBG for PS4 will be available via multiple offline stores as physical disks and you can order the same via Amazon for Rs 1,999 starting 7 December. Although, the impatient ones can go for the Rs 2,750 digital copy which will be downloaded to your console via the the download link which will be available from 7 December midnight.
Speaking to a Sony Playstation representative, he mentioned that the additional packs, character skins and battle points will be available for purchase via top-ups from both online and offline platforms at a later date.
Sony will be introducing the Uncharted Nathan Drake Desert outfit along with the Last of Us Ellie’s backpack for the early bird online purchasers.
The PS4 version of PUBG will be a single-player battle royale/action/shooter game which is said to support an additional 2 to 100 players online in a single network.
To play the online multiplayer version on PS4, one would need a PlayStation Plus account which has to be purchased separately.
PUBG for Xbox was launched in September 2018 and was made available to the users for free only for the early period.
Sadly, there are no such offers for PS4 users who will have to dole out a minimum of Rs 1,999 if they want to experience the game. Else, there’s always the FREE mobile version you can count on.
