Popular mobile game PUBG will soon support ultra-high graphics with 90 or 120Hz refresh rate display. This tip has been sourced through a video by YouTuber, Mr. Ghost Gaming, who managed to get a screen grab of the settings of PUBG Mobile beta version, which lets gamers switch between 60, 90 and 120Hz refresh rate.

This will most likely excite users with the OnePlus 7 Pro, Asus ROG Phone or the Nubia gaming phone. The support for these refresh rates could be a sign that flagship powerhouses like Samsung and Google will eventually succumb to the new trend in the market.

And reports have suggested that people wouldn’t have to wait long for these changes, with the Pixel 4 series expected to support this technology.

As you can see here, PUBG Mobile already supports HDR gameplay setting, and soon, the refresh rate, calculated as frame per second (fps) will max out at 120Hz on mobile devices for gamers.

We’ve already experienced 90Hz refresh rate quality on the OnePlus 7 Pro, and mostly we have seen the gaming performance become buttery smooth, which hasn’t been possible with the existing standard of 60Hz that most devices currently support.

More updates are expected to roll out in the coming weeks, but it will be interesting to see if developers at PUBG Mobile are able to effectively push support for this technology.
