Developers have confirmed that the Lite version of the game is as good as the Steam version and has been launched to compete with rival battle royale PC game Fortnite.

According to a post on the company’s website, the Lite version of PUBG will be able to run on PCs utilizing integrated graphics. Here’s a look at the system requirements for PUBG Lite:

It is claimed that players using the PUBG Lite version will be able to participate in battles of up to 100 players in a battle royal format. The game will offer support for budget gaming rigs and will be available to play in Solo/Duo/Squad and in TPP (third person perspective) mode.

PUBG Lite includes the Miramar (desert map), Erangel (original PUBG map) and the game’s training mode. It will be interesting to see if the game will be available to download from the main website or can be accessed through Microsoft’s Windows Store as well.
