Android Marshmallow 6.0 was rolled out by Google on their flagship devices that were launched recently, the Google Nexus 6P and the Nexus 5x.
Now OnePlus users will also get the Marshmallow update soon on their devices.
The OnePlus blog says that they don’t want to promise specific dates just yet.
For the OnePlus One, Cyanogen OS will be updating to Marshmallow in the first quarter of 2016.
The OnePlus 2 will also be updated in the same quarter, and the update will include the new standard Marshmallow API for the fingerprint sensor.
The company is working to bring Marshmallow as soon as possible to the OnePlus X but there is no specific timeline on that yet.
