When Amitabh Bachchan stepped out in an LED encrusted jacket, jiving to the tunes of ‘Saara zamaanaa..’, he changed disco costumes in India forever.
And now, you can replicate the same disco magic for your dog with a smartphone controlled LED dog vest called ‘Disco Dog.’
Embedded with LED lights, the vest is able to flash different colours and can even display various scrolling messages.
The illuminated vest can also be adjusted for brightness and color gradients through a smartphone app.
But its not only all light and show. The jazzy vest also keeps your dog safe.
The vest is connected to the owner’s smartphone, and in case the dog strays too far, the connection is broken.
This leads to a ‘Lost Dog’ message flashing across the vest.
Developed by a start-up firm called ‘Party NYC’, the project has garnered $22,757 (Rs 14,10,934) on Kickstarter for manufacturing on a large scale.
A total of 80 vests will be available in the initial round of production in three sizes — small, medium and large.
The vest is available for $300 (Rs 18,600) and $400 (Rs 24,800) for small and large sizes respectively.
