2. Skype Lite, Smart Cars: Satya Nadella on Microsoft’s India Plans
Microsoft’s big Satya Nadella event was mainly aimed at sharing what the company is doing for businesses in India, and how cloud computing is flourishing under its wing.
At the Future Decoded event in Mumbai on Wednesday, Microsoft also unveiled Skype Lite, which will allow a wider spectrum of mobile users in the country to communicate via Skype.

3. WhatsApp ‘Status’ Update: Now, Share Photos, Videos a La SnapChat
WhatsApp is the latest Facebook product to mime Snapchat Stories with the newly-announced Status. Jokes around the social circuit suggest that Spigel, CEO of Snapchat, is turning into a top-notch product person for Facebook.
Status allows users to share images and videos with their contacts on WhatsApp in a secure way and will be visible to select friends for 24 hours, before disappearing – just like Snapchat works.
