An updated line-up of the MacBook Pro might be launched alongside the new version of Apple’s iPhone.

Apple is all set to launch an update to the iPhone on September 9. Along with speculations about the next variant of the phone, there are also rumours and leaks surrounding the MacBook Pro series of laptops.

Reportedly, Apple is ready with its 13-inch and 15-inch Retina Display MacBook Pro laptops. The line-up, to be powered by low-power Skylake-Y processors, is expected to launch at $1299.

The dual-core laptops clocked at 900 MHz can be pushed up to 2.2 GHz when needed through Intel’s Turbo Boost technology.

The leaks are expected to grow as the launch date nears, and here’s hoping that the deal keeps getting better. We’re waiting for a bite of the new Apple pie.
