It’s that time of the year again when intermittent rumours about Apple’s upcoming portfolio flood the market. However, this time around, there has been a lot of hush-hush about Apple’s upcoming iPhone/iPhones.

But that hasn’t stopped techies from around the world to go snooping around for some Apple news and according to a report by Bloomberg, the new Apple Watch Series 4 could be launched with a complete overhaul in design.

The event is being touted to be held on 12 September, which is just around the corner, and apart from a new watch, the company is likely to introduce three new models of the iPhone.

The report suggests that the upcoming Apple Watch will be a major upgrade over its predecessor – the Apple Watch Series 3. The biggest change, and the one that is likely to catch your eye, would be the screen, which is being rumoured to be an edge-to-edge with slimmer bezels.

Despite the bigger screen size, the watch come with any extra bulk.

Reports also suggest that the new watch will be compatible with older straps, which further bolsters the possibility of two variants being launched like the last time – a 38 mm one and a 42 mm one.

Apart from the change in the display size, the new Apple Watch could bring to the table a bigger battery, micro-LED display, and 1 GB of RAM.

There are possibilities that Apple could also debut with the new S4 processor bundled with watchOS 5, which comes with enhanced health-tracking and a few other features.
