After launching the Motorola Moto E 4G and Moto G 3rd Gen, the company finally launched its flagship smartphone in India - the Moto X Play.
The phone’s starting price is Rs 18,499 for the 16GB version and will be exclusively available on Flipkart.
The major USP of the Moto X Play is the primary camera that comes with a 21 megapixel sensor and the phone boasts of a battery backup of 30 hours.
The Moto X Play sports a 5.5-inch full HD display with 401 PPI of pixel density and Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The phone is powered by a 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa-core CPU, Adreno 405 @ 550 MHz GPU and also has a Natural Language Processor.
It sports 2 GB RAM that is more than sufficient to drive the stock Android OS with a lag free experience.

For selfies the Moto X Play comes with a 5 megapixel front snapper and offers a pure Android 5.0 Lollipop experience.
The 21 megapixel camera has f /2.0 aperture and is loaded with features like PDAF (Phase detect auto focus), HDR+ , slow motion video, night mode and panorama.
There will be swappable back panels on the phone that can be bought separately and is loaded with a 3640 mAh battery.
The Moto X Play is a 4G compatible device and will have 16 GB of onboard storage which can be further expanded to 128 GB via micro Sd card. There is a also a 32 GB of the Moto X Play that is priced at Rs 19,999.
The Moto X Play is a Dual-SIM device and comes with a lot of customisation options.
The phone will not sport the water resistant capabilities that were seen n the Moto G 3rd Gen, which is a shame.
