Lenovo Announces Moto G5, G5 Plus at MWC 2017, India Launch Soon

The latest G series upgrades get faster camera with lower aperture for low-light quality improvement.

Lenovo-owned Moto refreshed its Moto G lineup with the G5 and G5 Plus at the MWC 2017 on Sunday. Both the phones, running on Android 7.0 Nougat are likely to hit Indian shores next month.

The G5 and G5 Plus have been priced at €199 (Rs 14,000 approx) and €279 (Rs 19,600 approx) respectively. Lenovo has given a metal treatment to the Moto G5 series, with its design facelift, and claims to have bumped up the camera quality this time around.

Moto G5

Moto G5 comes with a 5-inch 1920x1080 pixels display, powered by Android 7.0 Nougat. It packs the Snapdragon 430 processor, with 2/3GB RAM option.

It has got a 13-megapixel snapper at the back, 5-megapixel on the front. Loaded with a 2800mAh battery, the Moto G5 should work about for a day just fine.

Moto G5 Plus

Moto G5 Plus gets a 5.2-inch display this time around. It packs a Snapdragon 625 processor, 3/4GB RAM options. When it comes to the camera department, the G5 Plus gets new set of features. It comes with a 12-megapixel camera with dual auto-focus, aperture of f/1.7 that matches up to Samsung Galaxy S7. You get a 3000mAh battery with TurboCharging support.
