With sizes of smartphones getting bigger everyday, the days of compact phones that can easily snuggle in your palm or pocket seem quite distant. But it seems that with Jelly phones, all isn’t lost just yet.
Packed with a 2.4-inch display, Jelly phone stakes the claim to be the smallest Android phone in the world. You can even fit this phone inside the coin pocket of your denims. The phone’s size hasn’t deterred the company from packing the good stuff inside the device.
The Jelly phone will ideally be used as the secondary device, or anytime you’re travelling for a leisurely activity.
Jelly phone offers 4G connectivity, comes powered by a quad-core processor, paired with 1GB RAM, and offering storage up to 16GB. The phone’s 2.4-inch display supports a pretty mediocre 432x240 pixels resolution.
This easy-to-fit-in-your-palm device is running on Android 7.0 Nougat version, which means you can download all your favourite apps. This makes the Jelly phone more useful than the recently announced Nokia 3310 (which only offers 2G speed).
Having said that, the makers of Jelly phone have somehow managed to fit an 8-megapixel camera at the back, with a 2-megapixel shooter on the front. The phone is loaded with a basic 950mAh battery, which might not be sufficient for our daily, rugged usage.
So, if you’re wondering how much does it cost, and where you could buy one of these Jelly phones, then here’s your answer. Jelly phone is priced at $79 and is available via crowdfunding platform Kickstarter. Sign up for the Jelly phone, if this pint-sized phone has caught your eye.
