The OnePlus 2 comes with almost the same camera that you got on the OnePlus One.
Primary Camera
The OnePlus 2 features a 13 megapixel (1.3um) primary camera with 6 lenses Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and Laser Focus. The camera module on the OnePlus 2 has an aperture of f/2.0 which is pretty much the standard on flagship smartphones.
The Optical Image Stabilisation on the OnePlus 2 works beautifully, the focus is fast as well.
The camera on the OnePlus 2 can be fired up either with the app or by drawing a circle on the phone’s display when it’s locked.
The image quality of the OnePlus 2 in daylight conditions is good but not as good as one gets on the Samsung Galaxy S6 or the LG G4. But the macro image shooting on the OnePlus 2 is amazing.
The OnePlus 2 is also capable of capturing videos in 4K resolution and has slow motion mode, which records videos in 720p video at 120fps.
Image Quality of the Rear 13 MP Camera of OnePlus 2
The front camera on the OnePlus 2 is a 5 megapixel camera that has a beauty mode to correct your facial features. The selfies come out good and wide. It’s also a good camera to use Periscope on and make video calls.
Image Quality of Front Camera on OnePlus 2
Overall, the camera on the OnePlus 2 is an improvement over the camera module that users got on the OnePlus One. But, it’s not as amazing as one would expect.
The image quality is decent and does the job pretty well if you like to upload pictures on social networks.
The phone has been touted as a flagship killer by the company but as far as the camera goes, the phone is not even close to the image quality that one gets on an iPhone, Samsung Galaxy S6 or the LG G4.
