The iPod might make a comeback this year, if we go by reliable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo's research note that said the company is working on a new 16-inch MacBook Pro and a new 31-inch monitor two days ago.
The research note was quoted by 9to5Mac, a website that puts out news related to Apple.
The report mentioned Apple working on a new, bigger MacBook Pro laptops as well as a 6k monitor, new AirPods, the long-waited Airpower charging dock and, the new iPod Touch, something that did not catch as much attention as it should have.
Kuo said the new iPod will come with an upgraded processor, not giving out any other details on the new iPod.
The iPod lost its market as smartphones became the new normal, allowing people to do everything an iPod touch can do, plus making calls. Now, if the device will be able to make its mark on the market is doubtful.
However, there are people still out there who would want to get their hands on the updated iPod, just for old times' sakes, if not the features.
