Apple has scheduled its product announcement event on 12 September.

According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, the American tech giant will announce the new iPhone and an Apple Watch at the event.

Although no official invite has been sent by the company, we think its safe to assume that the iPhone would be launched next month itself.

According to the report, Apple is likely to host the event at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park.

While no official details were announced, recent leaks and a lot of rendered images show that the iPhone is expected to go through a complete overhaul in design. It will sport a lot of essential features like an iris scanner, a bezel-less display, and wireless charging.
