Xiaomi hasn’t made any significant noise in the smartphone scene for some time now. But the company is coming back with a smartphone in March 2016.
Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 3 in India on 3 March 3 2016. The phone sports a full-metal body and has a stark resemblance with LeEco’s 1s.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) Sunlight Display.
The Redmi Note 3 will come in two variants – one with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage and the other with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The phone sports a full-metal body and a fingerprint sensor. The phone has a rear 16-megapixel camera that features Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and a true-tone flash.
It runs MIUI 7 based on Android OS and is powered by a high-density 4050mAh battery with fast charging support. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 Hexa-Core processor that’s clocked at 1.8 Ghz.
The Redmi Note 3 is a Dual-SIM smartphone with 4G LTE support and also sports an expandable storage slot via a micro-SD card. It also has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.
The phone expects to compete in a high volume budget smartphone market where it faces tough competition from the likes of Lenovo K4 Note and LeEco 1s.
Xiaomi’s priced the 16GB version of the phone at Rs 9,999and the 32GB Version of the phone at Rs 11,999.
