HTC launched the One A9 smartphone in India without mentioning its price or availability. But now the Taiwanese brand has made an aggressive move by pricing the smartphone at just under Rs 30,000. The phone will be available later this week only on Snapdeal, in Carbon Gray and Pearl Silver, priced at Rs 29,990.
The all new HTC One A9 looks nothing like the previous phones launched under the One brand. Instead, there is a definite Apple element to it. HTC has been making metal-clad phones over the years but one look at the One A9 will give you the impression that HTC has fallen for Apple’s design taste.
At this price point, HTC is finally looking to make its mark in the mid-range smartphone segment in India that includes Samsung Galaxy A8, LG Nexus 5X and Gionee Elife E8 among others.
So what does the HTC One A9 offer for this price? Here’s The Quint’s first look at the phone. You can buy phone on the Snapdeal sale on 15 December, for which you need to register.
