It may be renowned for its wide range of printers and computers, but US-based Hewlett-Packard (HP) could unveil its first Windows 10-powered smartphone as early as next year.
The surprise announcement about its “HP Falcon” flagship smartphone may come during the upcoming “Mobile World Congress 2016” in Barcelona, Spain, from February 22-25, according to reports from the blog, bidnessetc.
The HP Falcon is rumoured to be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip set with 2GB RAM and 5.8-inch display.
The device may have an in-built 64 GB storage and will feature a 20-megapixel rear camera with a 12-megapixel front camera.
These specifications may make it well ahead of other Windows 10 smartphones like recently launched Lumia 950 and Lumia 950XL. It is likely that the launch of HP Falcon could be the instigator for Microsoft to work diligently towards the Surface phone we have been hearing about in recent times.
