Night Shift

Apple has integrated a night reading mode on the display of iOS devices calling it Night Shift. Night Shift uses your iOS device’s clock and geolocation to determine whether it’s day or night in your part of the world.

After sunset, Night Shift automatically shifts the colors in your display to the warmer end of the spectrum. In the morning, it returns the display to its regular settings. Apple says this will not strain your eyes while reading or watching videos in the night.

Passcode Protection on Notes

Now you will no longer need third party apps to protect your notes. The iOS note app now allows you to keep most personal data such as financial details, medical info, or website logins without worrying about data theft.

Notes now can be locked with a password or your fingerprint. You can also sort notes by date created, date modified, or alphabetically.

Third Party App Support for Health

Finding third party apps for iOS’s Health app was not easy at all. But post iOS 9.3 update they have made it simpler to find third-party apps to track your health and wellness.

Categories such as weight, workouts, and sleep have a new slider menu that reveals apps that can be added to your Health dashboard.

The Health app also displays your move, exercise, and stand data, as well as your goals, from Apple Watch.

So now all your health metrics is in one place and users can easily share their data with third‑party apps.
