This is where we get a glimpse of the next Android flavour every year, and this year it’s time for the yet to be named Android Q to officially make its debut in front of thousands of developers who will be working on apps for the new OS version.
We’ve already heard a lot about Android Q, the headlining feature being dark mode switched on for apps across the phone. YouTube already supports the mode on mobile and we’re keen to see other products like Gmail and even Google Assistant supporting the feature.
We’re also hopeful Google showcases a new range of smart devices and smart speakers that will compete with Amazon’s Echo range of speakers and other products that have been launched over the past six months or so.
And rounding up the list, Google is highly expected to announce the Pixel 3a series, which many claim to be the affordable version of the flagship series. Other notable inclusions are giving a crash course on apps for phones with foldable screen.
Google will also share details on Stadia, its online gaming platform, and we’re hopeful the prices will make the ecosystem accessible to one and all.
