Google's fitness app Google Fit was redesigned for Android last year (2018) and has now arrived on iOS, The Verge reported. The app, according to the report, will integrate with Apple Health, which means that your progress on other health apps can be used towards your Google Fit goals. The iOS app will sync with both the Apple Watch and Wear OS devices.

Google Fit is designed to hit activity goals recommended by United States' American Heart Association and World Health Organisation (WHO), about 150 minutes of moderate activity per week and 75 minutes of vigorous activity.

The app will be available on the Apple App store starting 25 April.

Google Fit works in "Move Minutes" and "Heart Points" to encourage users to become more active and keep a track of their fitness.
