After recently announcing the name of Android 9 (Pie), Google has announced the 'Go edition' of its latest Android version.
The Go edition is the Android OS for smaller, entry-level phones that do not have enough memory to run the actual Android version smoothly.
With the Go edition of the latest Android version, Google aims to bring additional storage, faster boot times, better security and more. The Go version of Android Pie will roll out till this fall.
With new features and app optimisation, the Go version of Android Pie is similar to the original OS. This time around, Android Go will also have voice integration and more space to play around with as the OS takes up a lot less space.
