Android users have already tasted the dark mode avatar on version 10, which for now is only available to Pixel phone users, as well as OnePlus 7 and Nokia users (in beta mode).

But even then, Google has been selective with which features get the dark theme, and this week, some users are getting the feature enabled on Gmail.

This again is only confined to Android 10 users, and those with Gmail version 2019.08.18.267 are seeing the option. If you don’t have the version yet, we suggest you update the app right away.

But if you already have the latest Gmail app and are still not able to change theme, don’t worry. It seems Google is rolling out the feature in a phased manner.
