Photography with a “Sense of Genius”– that’s what Canon is selling with it’s latest offering in DSLR, the EOS 6D Mark II, that has been launched in India with a starting price of Rs 1.32 lakh (only body).

The new 6D falls in the same category as the earlier launched 5D Mark III, and is recommended for the semi-pro who is well equipped with the wherewithal of professional photography.
The new 6D Mark II is an entry level SLR that comes with a 26.2-megapixel sensor with full-frame DSLR range. The new addition is the 45 point all cross-type auto-focus system. The new 6D is capable of of clicking pictures at almost 6.5 pictures per second.
It also sports a touchscreen LCD monitor which can be angled at various angles and can be used to shoot from high to low angles
The 6D is capable of shooting full HD videos at 60 frames per second, even though it doesn’t offer any stabilisation. It sports a DIGIC 7 sensor which is the latest from the company. The starting price for the 6D Mark II starts at Rs 1,32,995 (only body), while with a 24-70 f4L lens it costs Rs 1,84,995 and Rs 2,02,995 with a 24-105 f4L lens. The gizmo will be available for sale starting the end of July.
