E3 2017: All Top Announcements and Games Launched 

Top games announced at E3 2017. The biggest gaming event in the world. Need For Speed Payback, Fifa 18 & more.

The mecca of gaming and one of the biggest gaming events in the world – E3 is making a lot of buzz in the tech world, thanks to some big releases and announcements made before the official opening day of the event. The event kicks-off on 13 June, ending on 15 June.

From the new Xbox to big releases by Bethesda and Electronic Arts, here is a look at all the headline grabbing news at the event.

New Xbox One X

The gaming world is all set to welcome the ‘most powerful gaming console’ the Xbox One X. The console will come with a price tag of $499, and will be available worldwide starting 7 November. Microsoft also confirmed that 42 games would be available for the console, of which 22 will be exclusive.

The new Xbox One X comes with a design reminiscent to the older Xbox One S variant, and will only be available in the Black 1TB variant initially. No news yet on when it will be launched in India.

Games Galore at E3 2017

A slew of video game publishers have turned up at the event, with big players like Microsoft, EA and Bethesda already having announced what they’ll be bringing forth in 2017. You can expect a lot of VR integration into games, with Bethesda already announcing Fallout 4 VR and DOOM VFR, both coming out in 2017.

A quick look at what else can we expect along with other big upcoming releases.

Bethesda’s Upcoming Portfolio

Bethesda have made it clear that they are going to be very aggressive with their releases in 2017. Two of the most anticipated games ‘The Evil Within 2’ and ‘Wolfenstien: The New Colossus’ will be coming out later this year.

Also, additional downloadable digital content for ‘Dishonored 2’ was also unveiled at the event’s keynote, along with another game ‘Skyrim’ for the Nintendo Switch.

Here Is What Microsoft Announced

Apart from the new Microsoft Xbox One X, there are some games that we can look forward to from Microsoft in 2017. Microsoft announced 42 games for the Xbox One X, including 22 games with console exclusivity.

For the racing game enthusiasts, they announced the ‘Forza Motorsport 7’ which will be available for play at 60 frames per second(fps) and 4k. A graphic heavy experience.

‘Crackdown 3’, an open world game with a super cop unleashing mayhem was also unveiled. Just what we like in an action game. And, everyone’s favorite ‘Assassins Creed’ series returns with ‘Assassin’s Creed Origins’. And this time, the story takes place in Egypt.

EA Had Big Announcements Too

The biggest and possibly the most famous sports game of all time — Fifa is going to see its latest version ‘Fifa 18’ hit the market later in 2017, but just to stir things up, EA unveiled a little glimpse of what the game could look like. There’s a certain ‘Rocket’ playing a big part in this game.

Also, ‘Star Wars Battlefront 2’ multiplayer was unveiled, so gear up for some more intergalactic warfare. And, inspired from the Fast & Furious movie franchise, EA revealed the new ‘Need for Speed Payback’.

‘Anthem’ is another game from EA we can look forward to. Your character is an explorer with a super-suit in a deadly planet filled with monsters of different sizes and some lovely scenery. A perfect combination!
