Apple WWDC 2016: iOS 10, Mac OS X Sierra, Siri, Apple Maps & More

iOS 10 opens up for developers to play around, consumers get the option to sign-in for Public Beta to get iOS 10 in July. The free iOS 10 upgrade will be available later this year.

Now Apple talks about the privacy features enabled on the iOS.

Also, before we forget, iMessage is also now open to developers.

Message also now has the option to size out your emotions, much like what Google announced with its Allo at the Google I/O.

With Message on iOS 10, you can write in your own handwriting. You can also add emojis to your text as iOS detects the tone of your message and replaces the text with right emoticons.

With iOS 10 users also get the option to go through the voicemails in text, and monitor who’s calling you via Caller ID feature aka Truecaller.

Here’s the refreshed News App for iPhone and iPad. Now you’ll also live-time notifications on your iPhone from the News app.

And get lyrics too.

Now, Apple talks up the Apple Music which currently has 15 million paid subscribers. To make things even better, you get a cleaner design interface with iOS 10.

There are new features on Apple Maps, that as per the company guides you with direction, book table at a restaurant, book a Uber all of this done without moving out of Maps.

As expected, Siri is now opening up to developers, which means that you can ask Siri to message you via apps like WeChat or even book a cab on Uber. Or even make of VoIP calls.

Now it’s time for iOS 10 with its new look notification centre.
