Apple Finds Fault with ‘Very Small Number’ of Macbook Air 2018

Apple will be mailing customers with the serial number they have identified.

Apple has identified an issue in the main ‘logic board’ of the 2018 13-inch Macbook Air, the one with retina display, according to a 9to5Mac report, who had accessed an internal document, that says that a ‘very small number’ of Macbook Air models have been affected.

According to the report, Apple will be mailing customers with the serial number they have identified.

The issue, according to the document accessed by 9to5Mac, deals with ‘power’ but doesn’t elaborate on the exact problem. 

The 2018 Macbook Air had initially faced issues, when it was first launched, Back then, there were reports of users not being able to turn the device on at all.

According to the report, Apple is yet to officially announce the issue. In some cases, Apple doesn’t list programs that affect a small number of devices, hence, this might not be a public announcement at all.
