This is that time of the year when multiple renders of the upcoming iPhone show up on the internet. But if one believes what Forbes has to say, then this could be our first look at the iPhone 8 (or 7S), with its near bezel-less display and vertical dual cameras at the back.

According to the report, the iPhone 8 will look like no other iPhone launched till date. Bezel-less display has become the go-to trend for mobile manufacturers in 2017, with Samsung kick starting the new display revolution with its Galaxy S8 and S8+ launched in 2017.

Apple going the bezel-less way hardly comes as a surprise, especially when most analysts expected the iPhone-maker to do so.

The iPhone 8 is likely to come with a 5.8-inch display, and hopefully, they’ll offer it with Retina-like screen resolution. This would make iPhone 8 the biggest iPhone ever made, and likely to push the size of the iPhone 8 Plus beyond the 6-inch mark.

Apple is expected to roll on with using its patented lightning connector (even though Type C is becoming the standard), but no signs of headphone jack making a comeback.

It’ll be interesting to see how Apple manages to incorporate Touch ID into its display, now that they’ve bid goodbye to physical button on the front.

The other big change is going to come at the back, with the placement of the dual camera units. Unlike the horizontal positioning on the iPhone 7 Plus, Apple has opted to go with vertical angle for the iPhone 8, the report confirms.
