Apple is planning a new MacBook Pro design for 2019, The Verge reported, citing analyst Ming-Chi Kuo as saying in a research note. The report says that the new lineup will reportedly be led by all new 16-inch and 16.5-inch laptops, the biggest screens from Apple ever since it stopped its 17-inch models in 2012.
The report also quoted Kuo as saying that there might be a 13-inch model with 32GB RAM. Right now, only the 15-inch MacBook Pro comes with an option of 32GB RAM.
The analyst also said that the new Mac Pro might finally be launched this year. Moreover, this report comes as the first credible information about Apple's external monitor that will mark the company's return to the monitor market, the report said.
The monitor will be a 31.6-inch 6K display with a Mini-LED-like back-light design.
Apple's last monitor, the Thunderbolt Display was discontinued back in 2016.
The report also gives fuel to rumours of the new AirPods and the long-delayed AirPower charging mat.
