One by one major phone makers are sharing their Android 6.0 Marshmallow update roll-out plans. After software release news from Motorola, HTC, OnePlus and Lenovo, it’s time for Samsung to do the same. However, the schedule has been shared via unofficial sources, so we’re not sure how things are going to pan out for consumers.
For the time being, Samsung’s Android Marshmallow roll-out for various Galaxy devices has been leaked and according to reports, the update could reach your phone as early as next month.
In all probability, the latest Galaxy Note 5 should get updated to Android 6.0 by December, along with the Galaxy S6 Edge+. Moving forward, one can expect the flagship Galaxy S6 to get its due update in January if we’re going with the leaked listing.
Samsung Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update Schedule

- Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+: December 2015
- Samsung Galaxy S6: January 2016
