Reliance Jio’s monopoly in the 4G VoLTE segment is pretty much over. Airtel has finally rolled out its service that is catering to consumers in Mumbai at the moment. Airtel has highlighted that its 4G VoLTE network support is only available on select devices from brands like Samsung, Xiaomi and Apple among others.

The telecom operator has been put under intense pressure by the emergence of Reliance Jio, and they’re hopeful that a gradual roll-out will help them ease the competition in the country.

And for those of you, who’ve been waiting for other telecom companies to give you more options besides Jio, the time is ripe.
