Here comes another mobile brand, which bears all the marks of becoming Freedom 251 v2.0. Champ, is an India-based company that promises to sell its ChampOne C1 smartphone for a price as low as Rs 501.

However, the current price is for sales promotion only and once the device is launched across the country, the company says that the price of the phone it will be Rs 8,000.

To purchase the phone, users will need to register for the flash sale with Champ1india.

After registration, customers get a chance to buy the smartphone for Rs 501 on the first flash sale scheduled for 2 September in cash on delivery mode.

So what does the ChampOne C1 offer for 8K? ChampOne C1 device has a fingerprint scanner and packs in 2GB of RAM with 16GB of internal memory.

The device features 5-inch HD display and has 1.3GHz quad-core processor. It will also sport an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera.

Going by the specs alone, it is hard to see the company finding takers for its phone, except for those who managed to bag it for Rs 501. Especially when you have options like Xiaomi Redmi 3S available at a similar price.

However, we suggest that you take this brand and its offer with caution, so as to make sure that you’re not part of another Freedom 251-like saga.
