Vodafone and Airtel have lowered the cost of their respective 4G data plans in the country, where the industry is reeling under the ‘Jio effect’.
While Reliance Jio is still making a mockery of its competition (data plans stretching up to 84 days), Airtel and Vodafone are failing to match their data packs on offer.
Jio has repeatedly promised that it will price its data 20 percent lower than its rivals, and while they have jacked up the plan cost, it’s been absorbed by the increase in the number of validity days.
But the question on everyone’s mind is, which one is worth paying for?
To answer that, here’s a table that compares the best plans on offer.
Which One is for You?
As you can see, even though Airtel and Vodafone have finally lapped up the 1GB per day-kind of plans, they’re still lagging behind in terms of price-per-data-per-days ratio when compared to Reliance Jio.
Jio still faces the challenge to expand its network range, improve its existing network strength in various parts of the country, which gives the rest some more time to figure their plans out, and push people to stick with either Airtel or Vodafone. Else they’ll be left far behind in the race.
