We all know that Reliance Jio 4G data services will be available for free till 31 December 2016. But Jio has already released the data service tariff plans that are expected to be applicable from 1 January 2017. These are much lower than Airtel, Vodafone and Idea.

Most people are still not able to make voice calls via Jio 4G to other networks. But you can totally skip that option by choosing to use Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp to make calls. You could also use Google's Allo to make video calls on 4G, without getting billed for it.

4G Finally Making Way in India

Jio 4G's roll-out has prompted the likes of Airtel and Vodafone to offer improved 4G services. But that's not all. With 4G LTE getting a major push in the country, more and more mobile phone makers are now making 4G phones, costing as low as Rs 6000. Brands like Samsung have also committed to only sell 4G phones in India from now on.
