Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 6 Pro in India starting at Rs 13,999 for the 4GB variant and Rs 15,999 for the 6GB RAM variant. The successor to the Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with considerable upgrades as compared to before, but the biggest highlight about the phone is the four-camera setup it sports.
This price segment has serious competition like the Honor 8x and also the upcoming Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2. The Nokia 6.1 Plus too is a threat for Xiaomi here.
Here’s a look at what the latest Xiaomi smartphone has to offer.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro sports an all-metal aluminium design with a smooth finish at the back. Kind of like what the Mi A2 offers. There is not much weight to lug around considering the phone is big with a 6.2-inch full HD+ screen. Even though it’s 182 grams, the phone will feel light in the pockets.
Yes, it does come with Gorilla Glass protection for the screen but it’s always advisable to get a screen guard.
The Redmi Note 6 Pro is running a Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor coupled with RAM options of 4GB and 6GB. For graphics processing you have an Adreno 509 GPU. Internal storage can be expanded up to 256GB, but you have two storage variants to choose from.
The phone comes with a dual rear-camera setup with a 12+5-megapixel sensor at the back and a front 20+2-megapixel shooter.
The company has worked on the camera upgrade as the rear camera comes with f/1.9 aperture for better low light photography and it has also introduced EIS (electronic image stabilisation) this time around.
It also comes with a more than adequate 4,000mAh battery setup, which is bound to power your phone for more than a day with average use.
