PC gaming in India is getting pretty serious. With lakhs of prize money up for grabs, budding gamers are in the hunt for some serious hardware to help them get to the top. This isn’t about gaming here, rather it’s gaming on the go.
Come to think of it, a high-end Windows gaming laptop can cost anywhere between 3 lakh to 8 lakh depending on the company and specifications.
But, since we are catering to a segment looking for ultra-affordable notebooks, here are some options under a lakh, which you can definitely consider.
Asus TUF Gaming FX504
The Asus TUF FX504 is the latest and one of the most cost effective gaming laptops you can buy today at Rs 69,990. ASUS has been a pioneer in the PC gaming space and is looking to pass on that experience in the new TUF series.
The FX504 comes bundled with the latest 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8750H processor and for graphics an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics. There is a lot more packed in here like 8GB of RAM, a 1TB SSHD(Solid State Hard Disc).
In terms of display it features a 15-inch FHD IPS screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
HP Omen 15 (AX248TX)
When one thinks of gaming laptops, the name HP hardly pops up. Right?
Well, the American multinational is looking to change that perspective about them with their Omen gaming series.
HP’s most economical offering in the gaming series is the Omen 15 which is available for Rs 70,990 in the online space. The HP Omen 17 also comes under a lakh but this is a more economical option for you.
The 15.6-inch laptop comes with an Intel Core i5 7th Gen processor coupled with 8GB of RAM. It features the Nvidia 10 Series GTX graphic card. The design is a bit bulky hence I won’t call it the most portable option. You get at least 3-4 hours of battery life with it and it’s future ready to run games for the next 3 years.
HP Pavilion Gaming 15
This is the first HP Pavilion Notebook to enter the gaming segment and since the Pavilion series has a fan following of its own in India, this move gets more value to the product.

The good thing about this notebook is that it can manage very easily all the modern titles in full HD and can suffice for daily productivity.
