The company also launched the Oppo Reno priced at Rs 32,990 for the 8GB/128GB variant which doesn’t come with 10x zoom and lesser battery life.

The biggest highlight of the Oppo Reno apart from the Snapdragon 855 processor is its capability to offer 10x zoom at 12-megapixel resolution.
Speaking to Oppo officials, we learned that the rear camera has a hybrid zoom system of which 5x zoom is optical while the remaining 5x zoom is achieved via its prism lens tech. The phone also has 60x digital zoom.
The game changer is the 48-megapixel periscope lens in combination with prism changing tech inside the phone.
“The three camera's remain stable as the prism refracts the light in such a way that you get different focal lengths while the light changes”, said one of the spokesperson.
We tested out the camera and were impressed with the results we got.

There are a lot on other features the camera brings to the table and we’ll be sure to let you know about all of them in our full review.
The phone is powered by the latest Snapdragon 855 processor coupled with RAM options between 6GB and 8GB. The company has upgraded its OS to Colour OS 6 on top of Android 9 Pie.
It sports a 16-megapixel front snapper, which is nestled inside the phone and pops out when you activate the front camera. The company is calling it the “Shark Fin Rising Camera”. It’s fixed at 11 degrees, which Oppo feels is the perfect angle for selfies.
The fin also houses one of the phone’s speakers.
Built quality looks good bolstered by Corning Gorilla Glass 6 in the front. The company hasn’t said anything about the phone’s IP certification.
The phone offers a 4065mAh of battery juice which also supports Oppo’s VOOC Flash Charge 3.0.
At this price, it competes with the likes of the OnePlus 7 Pro, Pixel 3a and even the Honor View 20.
