OnePlus is going to launch its next generation flagship phone this year and leaks coming in this week suggest it will sport a pop-up selfie camera. The first purported render images of the phone also indicate that the OnePlus 7 will also be its first device to get three rear cameras.

The leaked renders, courtesy OnLeaks, also tell us that OnePlus has also moved away from putting a headphone jack on its phone, which is unlikely to go down well with consumers.

The leaks also hint that the OnePlus 7 won’t carry any notch, which means the Face Unlock feature might be a cumbersome experience on the upcoming device.

The pop-up camera, first seen on Vivo’s Nex and the recent V15 Pro, relies on a motorised mechanism, allowing phone makers to free up display real estate.

In terms of specs, we’re pretty certain that OnePlus 7 will get a 1080 pixels display resolution, powered by the latest Snapdragon 855 processor, with up to 10GB RAM and possibly 512GB storage options.

As you can see below, the OnePlus 7 will not get a headphone jack, but will sport a slimmer design profile with glass back body and vertical triple cameras at the back. These are likely to include a primary, telephoto and ultra-wide lenses.

The first leaked image of the rumoured OnePlus 7 for 2019 was first spotted by a tipster on the internet in January. Earlier it was expected that the 2019 OnePlus phone was to sport a slider camera setup, first seen with Oppo Find X.

Speaking of the brand, OnePlus' next smartphone, the OnePlus 7, won't support wireless charging as the technology is "inferior", company's CEO Pete Lau has confirmed, in an interview with CNET.

Lau still doesn't think it's worth adding to his products, according to reports on Tuesday. OnePlus charging is one of the best. Wireless charging is far inferior," Lau was quoted as saying.

The OnePlus is likely to launch in India this summer.
