We can finally confirm that the OnePlus 7 will be available in the Indian market from 4 June onwards. The latest OnePlus 7 has been priced at Rs 32,999 for the base model, making it the most affordable OnePlus flagship on the launch date.
The OnePlus 7 was first showcased alongside the OnePlus 7 Pro, which is the premium version of the two, sporting triple rear cameras and a 90hz display. The phone will make its way to Amazon for online availability, with offline stores expected to get the phone in the coming weeks.
The OnePlus 7 borrows its design elements and language from the 6T and there’s no better way to put it. The screen size and the resolution is the same, which means there’s a tiny water drop notch that hosts the front camera.
The display profile is simple, thin bezels on the side and bottom chin are visible too.
As per the specs sheet of both the devices (shown above), OnePlus has not differentiated between the 7 and the 7 Pro by a lot. It has the same upgraded Snapdragon 855 processor, with RAM options ranging up to 8GB for the OnePlus 7.
OnePlus is also the first company to pack the 7 series with a UFS 3.0 port on its standard Type C unit.
This works to good effect while playing files on the device and transferring data as well. OnePlus 7 carries the same 3,700mAh unit as of the 6 and 6T, but this time it is equipped with the Warp Charger.
You get a primary 48-megapixel and 5-megapixel secondary unit on the 7, which does sound impressive on paper at least, but we’ll have to test to see its capability.
