OnePlus is all set to unveil its second OnePlus 5 series product in 2017 on Thursday, and we’re all excited to see how the brand manages to catch everyone’s attention this time.
The phone, as rumoured, could be the first OnePlus phone with an 18:9 ratio screen, which means that the fingerprint scanner could go to the back. The phone is also likely to be priced around the 36K mark that you pay for the OnePlus 5 right now.
The event kicks off at around 9:00PM IST in New York, but OnePlus is giving everyone the chance to take a look at the latest OnePlus flagship.
You can watch the live stream of the event over here.
The OnePlus 5T is likely to get a 6-inch 2K display with 2560x1440 pixels resolution, but the 18:9 ratio (trimming down the bezels) could be the highlight feature of the upcoming OnePlus phone.
The use of display real estate could also push the fingerprint scanner to the back, unless OnePlus has found a way to integrate that within the screen.

The hardware features are expected to be the same. We don’t see OnePlus bumping up its memory to double digits (maybe OnePlus 6 could), and 128GB for storage is more than enough.
Stay tuned with us to know the India pricing of the OnePlus 5T later this evening.
