What’s new is that the JioPhone 2 comes with a QWERTY keypad and it comes with a dual-SIM slot. It’s not a fresh design and take after other phones like Nokia E5 and the BlackBerry Curve 9220.
The JioPhone 2 also offers VoLTE and VoWi-Fi connectivity and will also support NFC, FM Radio, GPS and Wi-Fi.
It will run on the same version of KaiOS as supported in the JioPhone. It comes with a 2-megapixel rear camera and a VGA camera on the front. The JioPhone 2 phone will offer the same features and applications as before with exception of certain additional apps like WhatsApp and YouTube which have just been announced for the JioPhone.
For memory support, it offers 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. For backup there is a 2000mAh battery inside which is non-removable.
