Entry-Level ASUS Gaming Laptops Launched, Priced at Rs 92,000

New ASUS ROG gaming laptops have been launched in India.

The PC gaming industry in India has grown rapidly over the last few years, in turn increasing the demand for serious gaming laptops.

Only a few months ago, ASUS had launched their premium ROG (Republic of Gamers) series of laptops in the sub-Rs 2.5 lakh category, and now they are back with a bit extra for beginners.

The latest offering from ASUS caters to the PC gaming enthusiasts who are looking to embark into serious gaming. The new ROG entry-level laptops comprise of the ROG Strix GL503 Scar and the ROG GL503 Hero edition, and starts from Rs 92,000.

The company also showcased its FX503 gaming laptop, the prices of which will begin from Rs 69,990. All of the new ASUS portfolio will be available from 20 December, both online and offline.

The Scar edition laptop has been introduced with pre-loaded games such as ‘Counter Strike’ and ‘Overwatch’. The Hero edition has been optimised for MOBA (multiplayer online battlefield area) games like ‘Dota 2’.

The ROG Strix comes with a 15.6-inch IPS display that’s 2.3 cm thin and offers a screen refresh rate of 144Hz. Though thin, it has impressive hardware. It’s powered by the 7th generation Intel Core i7 processor and RAM options up to 32GB.

Bundled with the latest Nvidia Geforce GTX 10-series graphics card, the Scar series is running on the latest Windows 10 and offer storage up to 1TB.

It sports an intelligent thermal design for heat dissipation and comes with an RGB Aura keyboard that is customisable.

The Strix Hero is also a very powerful machine powered by the same 7th gen i7 processor as that of Scar. It offers up to 6GB RAM and 1TB storage.

The mid-range FX503 starts at Rs 69,990 and offers specifications such as a 7th gen i7 processor, 8GB RAM and a 4GB Nvidia GTX 1050 graphics card.

It comes with a dual-fan intelligent thermal design and also the company is giving users the option to increase the RAM and also update the graphics card thanks to a removable compartment beneath.
