Volkswagen has finally unveiled it's 5-seater SUV, Tiguan, in the Indian market. The German automaker has priced the big-sized four wheeler starting from Rs 27.68 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).

Talking about the Volkswagen Tiguan specifications, you get a 2-litre diesel engine paired with 7-speed automatic transmission.
As per Volkswagen’s claims, Tiguan delivers peak power of 143 PS and 340 Nm of torque ranging from 1750-2750 rpm with superior fuel efficiency of 17.06 kmpl (ARAI tested).
This compact SUV will be manufactured by Volkswagen at its plant in Aurangabad, and will sit alongside the Skoda Yeti as far as positioning goes. It is based on the company’s new modular MQB platform that also underpins the upcoming Skoda Kodiaq.
